Bought a case of 12 variety by Dundee for a good price from Meijer.

Had this guy first cause I love porters. Served in a pint.

A: Pours a clear, dark, mahogany brown color, with a thin fizzy off white head with minimal lacing.

S: Light aroma, chocolate, coffee, barley, malts

T: Could use some more flavor, bit lacking, but it's smooth though. Bits of chocolate, wheat, malts

M: Very smooth, good carbonation, goes down really easy, good

O: Overall, a bit lacking on flavors, it is however, smooth and refreshing, easy to drink, its good, and was a bargain, recommended by me.

Bought as part of Dundee's Ales & Lagers Seasonal Pack from Southtown Beverage on 4/26/13. Case price was $ 17.99.

poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Sam Smith's Pint Glass. Served at Ambient Temp.

appearance: clear medium brown, liked Brewed black tea supports a 2 finger shortbread colored head. nice lacing.

aroma: nice toasted malt with English style earthy hops.

mouthfeel: smooth, maybe a little thin for the style.

taste: lovely, caramel sweetness with a touch of cocoa. some hazelnuts.

notes: Wow! wasn't expecting a beer this good from Dundee but it is an excellent beer. Maybe a little light for the style in color, mouthfeel and body but it is delicious beer that can hold it's own and will become a regular of mine.

Slight sweet malty scent.
Poured into a tulip glass hoping to capture or maintain head. The head was very bubbley for a porter and is disappears rather quickly leaving some small lacing on the glass.

Dark appearance but not thick. YOu can see light coming through near bottom of the glass. More like a cola then a porter.

The taste - very carbonated, especially for a porter. Maltly somewhat bitter but very thin. Little after tasted.

I had a half of one. It's an average tasting mainstream type beer. I didn't see the point of finishing it.
