Review from BeerAdvocate magazine Vol. II Issue VII:

Look at Dundee, new labels and marketing. They're certainly not the new kids on the block, but this IPA jumped into the market about two years ago, sporting a true modern American-style hopping of Amarillo and

Bright and shiny copper hue, decent head retention with some sporadic stickage. Sweet and herbal hop aroma of mandarin oranges, freshly cut grass and faint powdered aspirin. A bit of sweet biscuity malt in the nose as well. Big on crispness with a fluffy medium body. Dull bitter hop bite from a broader hop flavor that throws thick herb (nearly aspirin-like), spearmint and leaf at the taste buds. Maltiness has a semi-restrained character with a mild sweetness throughout and a juicy kernel of toasted biscuit in the middle. Very clean palate here. The alcohol is a little bit warming with a quick punch of pepper spiciness. Finishes a little dry with more of that dull bitterness.

Bitterness is the star here, with the beer being so clean it might be letting the hops come through a bit too much, as they step all over the malt. Not to nitpick ... a little bit more maltiness to balance would not hurt, but regardless, it is certainly drinkable and within its style.

Bought as part of Dundee's Ales & Lagers Seasonal Pack from Southtown Beverage on 4/26/13. Case price was $ 17.99.

poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Served at cool Temp.

appearance: light amber with a three finger white head. excellent lacing.

aroma: citrus with some floral notes, some wintergreen also.

mouthfeel: thinnish..

taste: a malty IPA with some diacetyl. Candied orange, candied ginger, some mint.

notes: again, Dundee puts forward a decent beer that is not a generic clone of others in the style. I actually liked this one.

Drank from the bottle. Not a bad IPA by any stretch but not a great one either. I essentially bought it because it had a funny name and I like an IPA so I guess I can't complain too much. Worth a drink, but that's about all it's worth.

The bottle says it is bitter and it is. Not particularly bitter, but I'll let it slide because bitter was all I tasted. I still have a couple left so maybe I'll try drinking ti from a glass and see if results differ.
