$2.49 for a 24 oz at Han-dee Hugo's in Durham N.C ...which is outrageous.Genny Ice was right next to it for 99 cents.
Tastes great really cold....has that grassy/moldy wheat smell to it when it warms up though...kinda reminds you of a skunky Heineken or something like that so keep it cold.
Very sweet tasting
If youre a fan of Little Kings then youll like this beer.Great representation of a general cream ale.
dont let it warm up....skunkfest will ensue
The can is pretty cool looking too...i would drink this more often but the pricepoint where i live makes it not worth the price,

24oz can split and poured into a tulip.
A: Pours a clear light golden amber with a 1 finger white head. A fair amount of visible carbonation.
S: The standard corn affair you would expect from an American adjust, with a touch of lactose like creaminess. A bit of alcohol comes through.
T: Pale and light malts with a sweetness to them. A bit of a bready note at the end. An alright aftertaste that isnt offensive like most cheap beer.
M: Light to medium body with a good amount of carbonation. A tad sticky but remains mostly crisp.
Overall a very non offensive macro style brew. Easy drinking but dont let it get too warm.

12 oz. can, unknown birth date, served in a 3Fs Teku glass, drank 4/9/13 over one hour.
A: 4 - straw yellow coloration, good clarity, small champagne-like bubbles, one finger white head quickly dissipates into glass lacing, minimal alcohol legs
S: 3.75 - lots of corn, some breadiness, minimal hop aroma --> adjuncty smelling
T: 3.5 - surprisingly, minimal corn flavor hit my palate but clean, light, refreshing, and easy to drink --> nothing off but nothing really on either
M: 3.5 - slight creaminess and smoothness (like cream soda), mild-to-moderate body, low alcohol flavors
O: 3.75 - a nice, refreshing, clean and easy to drink beer that would be a solid lawnmower beer but doesn't offer much else; however, it's a good budget beer that I would not turn down if put in front of me like many American adjunct lagers

Poured into a Samuel Smith pint glass. I think this is the only time I've poured it out of its can.
A- clear yellow, 2 finger white head
S- earthly, grassy, little malty sweetness
T- good sweet and bitterness balance, watery, sweet grass
M- creamy, light, high carbonation, reminds you of something with more bite to it for the same price of lighter bodied cheap beers
O- The mouthfeel and taste are great for a bargain beer. I find this refreshing and provides enough taste for me to realize I'm getting a good deal. I always buy this over bud, miller, etc.

Served from a bottle, but poured some into a glass to gauge the appearance
A: Gold colored with a small white head forming at the top
S: Go figure it smelled like a lot of cream ales, hints of vanilla and some grains
T: Sweet tasting with notes of vanilla on the back end.
M: Very easy to drink, light carbonation with not overpowering elements
O: Overall a pretty good beer and it was found at a great price, so you can't beat that. Definitely worth the money, but I can't see myself buying it at a higher price.
