Nice & friendly little spot w/decent options. My concern as is with most Mom/Pop shops is handling inventory, meaning: as word spreads and BA's and neighborhood folks start to flock in, will there be more empty spots on the shelves than not? I saw about 6 people studying the shelves hard in my 10 minute stay. Time will tell.
But, if they stay pleasant, keep informed on current stock and future releases, and please do not go the way of another local beer/wine that went south and angered alot of their local customers w/a shiddy and snobbish attitude - they should be fine.

Stopped in here on opening day this past Thursday... the store is a great addition to the North Center neighborhood, not far from Half Acre, and near the Irving Park brown line. The store is in a small space on the ground floor of a newer condo building.
The cashier was right up front, along with a bottle chiller (great idea) that they explained was temporary until their coolers arrive next week. To the left are a couple of high backed chairs, a rug, and flatscreen tv on the wall, kind of felt like a new home, complete with the "new home smell" of fresh paint and sawn wood. The space was utilitarian with a grid of shelving in the center of the store, the majority being craft beer, along with some wine and craft spirits along the walls.
Beer selection was good, full lines from Boulevard, Oskar Blues, Founders, Bells, and more. Spotted an Argus london porter that had eluded me, and current seasonals lke Breakfast Stout. A wall of singles were individually priced, set up for mix & match six packs. The rices were far and competitive on the beer, which was US craft focused, with a few shelves dedicated to quality imports also (Timmermans Oude Gueuze for example).
The couple running the store were friendly, and took the time to help customers while busy stocking the shelves. Check back in to see the progress and to support a new independent craft beer business in the neighborhood.
