Screw-cap growler filled at the brewery.

First imperial pint glass pours with a 1" thick light beige head, over the clear golden amber brew. Head holds on incredibly, with chunky sporadic lacing. Aroma is fruity and yeast spicy.

Taste begins spicy sweet upfront, a peek of citrus in the middle, then creamy spices through the close. Light lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is airy and light over the tongue, and drinkability is superb. Was a standby at various stops during my recent weekend in the Middlebury area.

On tap at the brewery. Bright golden with a nose of citrus hops and a solid husky malt backbone. I expected more of an IPA from the aroma, but this is a well balanced, and clean lawn-mower beer for the people who love hops. An honest representation of an American Bitter. Thoroughly enjoyable. Brought a growler home.

First had: on tap at their tasting room

Poured a clear, golden brown color with a few stray bubbles on top. Basic aroma of a typical golden ale, toasted grains, light floral hops, touch of Belgian yeast. Similar taste, toasted grains, honey sweetness, notes of bready yeast, floral hops, light fruits. Fairly light body, easily drinkable, a little stale in the aftertaste, but otherwise a decent brew.
