Pours deep amber with a small off white head receding quickly to leave lacing on the edge of the glass.
Lots of tart raspberry on the nose with some musty brett and oak. Slight vinegar.
Taste closely mimics the aroma. Sweet and tart raspberry all over the palate along with a bretty muskiness. Some vinegar acidity and oak round it out creating a dry finish.
Medium bodied with carbonation on the lower side. Very dry finish.
A good beer, but all over the place at times and the acidity in the finish would limit drinkability on this one. I liked the flavors, but it may need a bit more time to become completely cohesive.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4
Appearance: Pours out with a garnet color and a pretty impressive head that delivers some lace
Smell: Vinous and tart, with green apple and strawberry tones
Taste: Very acetic from the get-go, with tart green apple, vinous grape and strawberry jam flavors; oaky elements develop in the middle and the acetic quaility builds into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; very puckery
Overall: Only for those who like their sour beers very sour as this beer hits that button
