Presentation: 12 oz brown long neck, on the label states that this brew is a dedication to all of the 14,000+ mountains in CO. No freshness date.

Appearance: Copper hued with an effervescent carbonation that helps the head retention.

Smell: Good whiff of yeast, hop leaf, bread and grain in the nose.

Taste: Smooth and a little creamy in the mouth feel. Nice malt crispness yet there is an odd husky flavour that floats in the middle. Hop bitterness is ample and lingers into the finish as well as a bit of biscuity malt and a mild fruitiness.

Notes: A decent brew yet more of an American amber ale rather than an ESB ... bit out of balance though still quite drinkable.

A: The beer is very hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin off white head that died down leaving a thin film of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge, and some large webs of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are aromas of caramel malts in the nose along with notes of orange citrus hops and hints of yeast.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell and has a light amount of bitterness, which particularly lingers through the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit chewy on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation. There is a bit of dryness in the finish.
O: I found this beer quite flavorful and interesting compared to other beers in the style. It’s easy to drink and quite sessionable.
