Shared with some friends at Whistle Binkies. Poured into some snifters:

A - A nice deep amber with a little bit of golden hues. Hardly any head witha bit of foam around the edges with really no lacing.

S - Loads of nutmeg. Lots o' rum and cinnamon and pumpkin. Little bits of vanilla from the barrel and a bit of candy sugar. That's about it.

T - Oh yeah! Pumpkin pie, cream and rum! The spices are really nice with bits of pepper and a touch of citrus right before the rum blast. Pretty damn good!

M - Huge tingle from the booze and the spices but not too bad at all. Smooth but really no carbonation, only touch from the barrel.

O - Yeah its really good for a pumpkin ale but it is full of booze. Really great smell and flavor, but I'd be suprised if someone could finish one of these by themselves. Great for sharing though, especially around the holidays!

6 ounce pour into a globe glass at Big Wood festival at Brouwers in Seattle.

Pours clear ruby with about a finger of off-white head.

Smells very strongly of sweet fruit, it’s kind of like rotting fruit. Not in a bad way, just the way it gets stronger and sweeter when it rots. You can smell the rum from a mile away. There are a few light spices and I can detect very little pumpkin.

The taste was a lot of booze and sweet fruits. No surprises. Very crisp and full.

Palate was decent. Lots of alcohol bite and very carbonated.

Overall, I expected more from this. Love the style, and love the brewery, but Great Pumpkin still stands as my favorite pumpkin beer.
