Enjoyed a taster on tap at Avery's tap room in Boulder.
Clear pale copper with a short white head. Nice lacing.
Smells of grapes, tobacco, grass, orange peel, and a touch of citrus. Lots of subtleties but solid strength.
Grassy citrus and a bit of citronella with lavender. Finishes clean with a biscuity malt and no alcohol taste. An awesome summer flavor.
Thin body with little carbonation. Very sessionable and refreshing. I'm normally not a fan of such thin-bodied beers, but this matches the style and makes for a great summer drink.
Overall a solid summer session ale.

On tap at the brewery, served cold in a pint glass.
It has a golden amber color with good clarity and great lacing.
Aroma is sweet and citrusy with orange dominating.
Same could be said for flavor which reminds me of an American wheat beer but with greater bitterness and lots of orange peel.
Medium-light in body, nicely carbonated, well balanced.
Overall an interesting and refreshing warm weather beer.

Thanks to Dan for buying me a glass of this one yesterday afternoon up at Avery. Poured a nice light golden color with a soft white head. Having recently seen the budda's hand for sale at Whole Foods, I knew what to expect from the fruit. This is pretty much what we got. Aromas of lemons, lemon zest and crackers. On the palate, light bodied, and citrusy, with zest, lemon and crackers.

Poured a light copper penny in color with a smattering of white head atop the liquid...
Smells of Belgian yeast , some sweet hop character as well. A mild nose, which I'm surprised to say but is becoming a norm for me with Avery beer in their tap room. There must be something n the air impeding nostril judgment.
The taste is exquisite and new. Bubblegum and citrus, yes a lemon seed and lime juice aftertaste. Sweet and bitter tendencies in the back. A great balance.
I'm usually against light body, but the light body in this coupled with the super spry and brisk carbonation is a perfect match to the flavor.
I would recommend this to lovers, brothers, sisters mothers, of every age and religion. Avery Should make this their next canned and sold beer as it would kill during the summer. Everyone who drank it with me thus far has raved about it.

Served in a pint glass at the Avery Tap Room. Clear amber with lots of carbonation. Small, but thick head with reasonable lace. Aroma is citrusy and spicy. Lemony aroma, but with candy like qualities. Aromatic, kaffir lime middle. Very clean and uneventful finish. Nothing like any Belgian I've had before with none of the banana esters qualities that I typically get. Think Lemon Pledge. Kudos to the Avery guys for making something interesting. Would make a reasonable summer alternative to fruit based beer. Not interesting enough for a second, though.
