Batch 2, 2008.

This bottle looks like it's been through a war. Hope it's still good! We had the opportunity to taste this at a tasting led by Adam Avery himself, but I wanted to rate a vintage as Adam said he thinks this improves with age.

A murky brown, cloudy pour fills my glass. Looks like a nice Belgian Dark, almost looks like a quad.

Smells like sweet malt, raisins, yeast, and slight oxidation.

Taste is awesome. WOW! Such depth, a perfect flavor peak brings a rush of raisin bread. Nice caramel malts, dark malts, and cloves. Finishes an Earthly mix of malt and hops. Nice ride for sure!

Mouthfeel is great. Not too carbed, perfect visco.

Drinkability is superior to many others out there. This is a great beer, so much going on. Happy to have had the chance!
