Cloudy burnt orange. Beer clears as it warms. Momentary fizz fades to a ring. Not much of a head, especially for a Belgian. Good lacing though.
Funky yeast upfront in the aroma. Followed by a strong, malty sweetness. Maybe a little bit of tartness.
Wow. Not what I was expecting. In the flavor Very, very smooth and sweet upfront. Complex, tart, and acidic in the finish. No boozy alcohol. Really great flavor.
Medium bodied. Light carbonation. Clean, neutral finish.
I like this beer a lot. I can't get over how smooth it tastes, especially considering its relatively high ABV. I'll buy this one again.
