Deep, dark brown in color. Nice off white head forms but sinks back into the liquid quickly leaving little lace.
Not much to note in the smell department. Basically clean and sweet with a touch of molasses.
Flavor is rich and chocolately. A touch of caramel sweetness there too. Hints of roasted flavor hit the tongue but not dominant. Hops are subdued with a bit of floral citrusy characters.
Medium-bodied ale with moderate carbonation. A little drying on the tongue.
Overall, a descent brown ale. Flavors are well balanced and also more roasted character than I usually experience from the style.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was Goid retention and lacing.
The smell featured dry cocoa and roasted malt.
The taste consisted of roasted malts, soft chocolate and a touch of smoke.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a very nice brown ale.
