We got done with a show in Greensboro, NC. Ric and I owned the mic tonight...Schiavone never saw it coming.
The beer:
Smells both smoky and malty up front. Tastes nutty, somewhat of a chocolate undertone.
This is a brown ale you can enjoy over several servings. Very drinkable...not too thick of a brown ale. This is a "go-to" in this category, for me. Good out of a bottle and can.
80s/90s wrestler most likely to drink this beer:
Big John Studd.
Diamonds are forever.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was Goid retention and lacing.
The smell featured dry cocoa and roasted malt.
The taste consisted of roasted malts, soft chocolate and a touch of smoke.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a very nice brown ale.
