Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours a dark brown color with a very thin, creamy head to it.

Has a malty, roasted, caramel smell to it with a hint of chocolate in the background. The malty flavors continue into the flavors with the caramel and roasted malts and some nice sweetness to it. Medium bodied with some good carbonation.

A very nice drinking brown ale, very smooth and flavorful. Well worth getting if you like brown ales.
