12 oz brown bottle with a "Bottled In 2005" vintage date on the label.
A- Fluffy off white head, some retention is noticeable. Bright pale golden hue show some active carbonation rise to the top.
S- Big lemon zest aroma, faint earthy herbal note in the nose with a backing of spice and mild pale malt.
T- Lemon zest and a musty choatic herbal mix, biscuity bready malt only adds to the choas. Finishes dry blinded with spices and herbs.
M- Thick crispness make the body feel bigger than it really is.
D- This beer is for sharing and sipping. More than a half bottle is more than enough for me at one sitting.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 2005. Pours hazy golden amber color with a good 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Good foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of big cinnamon, allspice, ginger, biscuit, pepper, clove, coriander, lemon zest, wheat, herbal, floral, earth, and yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and spice complexity; reminiscent of cinnamon toast crunch a bit. Taste of lemon, pear, toast, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, pepper, coriander, wheat, herbal, floral, clove, and yeast spices. Lingering notes of citrus, pepper, cinnamon, clove, herbal, floral, and yeast spices on the finish for a good bit. Nice flavor complexity and balance; zero cloying sweetness. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly slick and slightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is was a fantastic saison!(even being 7 years old). Great spice balance and complexity and extremely smooth to sip on. This was very highly enjoyable.
