A- Poured a dark caramel colored body with a head that barely made it a minute.
S- Raisins, caramel, banana, biscuity and bready.
T- First off, the alcohol is very well hidden. The dark fruits take the stage while allowing the spices to come out. Cinnamon, biscuits, plums and raisins.
M- medium-bodied, medium to high carbonation. Good drinkability.
Overall its a very solid quad. Lacked a bit on the nose but made up for it in the taste. If you like belgian ales, acquire a bottle.

Avery : The Reverend
Aged bottle, approx 2 years age on it.
LOOK: Light brown color, cloudy with some sediment. Off white head forms and recedes to a ring around the goblet.
SMELL: Apple butter, toffee, rummy alcohol.
TASTE: Caramel, toffee, caramel apples, soft fruitiness. Bitterness is very mild. Brown sugar, mild toast and faint raisin. Just a touch of spicy alcohol heat, well guided for sure.
FEEL: Light bodied, well carbonated, alittle sticky.
OVERALL: Think this one peaked, but I like the way this came out. Mellow and easy drinking, this was a cellar treat. You can take your time when deciding to crack this one, still very tasty.
