pours out a deep copper with two fingers of off white head that leave chunks of lacing as the beer disappears. not too much for the nose, just tons of sweet malts and a bit of booze in the background. taste is bigger than the nose. leads off with sweet sweeet caramel malts. a little citrus hops is hidden behind the big alochol flavor. mouthfeel is full and creamy, goes down smooth with a slight alochol warming presence. overall this beer is worth a go this time of year. plenty of alochol presence to keep you warm this time of year.

Look: Deep orange bordering light brown. Soapy white head providing some lace.

SMELL: Caramel, big malts, toffee and alcohol.

TASTE: Toffee and dark breads, some leafy, citrus hops, and a little kick of alcohol. An imperial Oktoberfest by design, and certainly carries the caramelized Munich malts. If you ask me, this is a good dopplebock.

FEEL: Medium bodied, well carbonated a bit slick and chewy with loads of malt.

OVERALL: A really nice beer. 9.1% German style lager pulled off with finesse.
