Nice looking dark brown pour that sits a deep mahogony in the glass, bit of red on the sides, small tan head on top, glorious lacings.

Smells of raisins, lots of raisins, some roasted grains, chocolate malts and caramels. I really liked the nose on this one. Tastes of a wide variety of fruits and some great roastiness in grains with sweets to back it all up. Let's see what we got in the basket here: Cherries, raisins, apples and some light citrus (blood orange?) bring in the front. Chocolates and carmels, like in the nose balance off some great floral hops and I swear I taste citrus in here too. Nice, but slightly sharp, bitterness finishes this beer off. What a ride!

This beer loses in mouthfeel though. A pretty shallow, medium body combined with quite and excess of carbonation grinds my tongue like sandpaper and leaves me full of air. Although, that only furthers my decision is saying there are citrus hops in this, becuase it really tastes like grapefruit going the other direction. :)

Nice to drink, loads of flavors and a nose that is top notch. I only wish for a better body and more flow, rather than a mouthful of goodies, seeminly all at once. I'm definately going to do this one again.

i was going to hate this beer but the more i drink the better it got great color looks good in a glass says the ypound it with hops but its not a factor here it just has a bitter sweet taste and it a stout so im saying try it you may like it a rosaty good fun beer enjoy
