$7.99 USD plus tax for a sixer at a beer store in New Orleans, LA.
6% ABV. "Hazy ale." "...brewed with a balanced blend of Cashmere, Sabro, and Citra hops..."
BOTTLE: 12 fl oz format. Brown glass. Predominantly blue label. Pry-off crown cap. Best by: 07/21/20.
Mellow with an underwhelming hop profile...this drinks like a pale ale, not an IPA, but it has a pleasant hop profile even if it wants for more hop pungency and depth of hop flavour.
Smooth, wet, somewhat refreshing, slightly oily, and medium-bodied. Well carbonated.
A drinkable brew and a fairly priced one, but judged as an IPA, it isn't great. I'd sooner drink Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale, which has more hop pungency and balance for about the same price.

I liked the Abita Spring IPA. The beer poured a hazy yellow with white head that left some lacing. The scent was bitter in nature with citrus being present. The taste was bitter but came off the pallet clean. There was hints of grapefruit present. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall....yeah....I'd try it again.
