We decided to go there today because its the closest place to New Hampshire(that I know of) that offers selections from Hill Farmstead and Lawsons Finest Liquids. It was well worth the trip in both the beer selection/quality and food. The menu is focused and had four main selections: Grass fed beef burger, salmon burger, veggie burger, turduckey burger that has a duck confit. The special was a shrimp po' boy sandwich that I should have gotten for the hour and fifteen ride back to Concord NH.
The burgers were just so delicious, I grabbed a second for the ride home. My girlfriend didn't love the veggie burger but we all polished off the huge order of hand cut fries that were as good as any I've tried. Next time I'm heading up to grab a case or two of headies in Waterbury, I'll definitely make sure to sneak a few minutes off of exit 2 on Route 89 in Vermont to chow these burgers and great beers.
Speaking of beers, this is the place. The owner is a super nice and chill guy who knew all about the lineups from Hill and Lawsons. They had Abner, Edward, Life Without Principal and Foster from Hill Farmstead with Double Galaxy waiting for a free tap. Wish the Doub Galaxy was flowing today to drink with the delicious Abner. They had run out of Lawsons(we were there on a Sunday) but he said they had a barrel of Maple Nipple waiting for a tap. Supposedly Heady Toppers will be making their way down soon also. It's a really fun place to go with good food that started with great ingredients(local VT cheeses for your burgers also). The beer selection speaks for itself, they had other great brews on the many taps but we never get past the local VT brews. You really can't beat fresh Hill and Lawsons. This place is worth the trip, grab your appetite and ideally a friend to drive back home.

This is a tough place to describe, Great place to get a craft beer and burger seems to work.
There is always a great beer selection, usually a Hill Farmstead or Lawson's offering, plenty of other well thought out beer offerings.
All the varieties of burgers, beef, fish, turducky, veg, with fun toppings, daily pickle plates and crazy ass tasty desserts.
Everything about this place is different, you order at the bar and the bring you signalling device to let you know when your food is ready, Remember, cash only.

WOW WOW WOW. So this place is door to door, a 4.5 hr ride from NY to Smugglers Nothc and is well worth the stop. Over a dozen local breweries on tap and the burgers and fries are absolutely awesome. Im a sucker for local grown foodstuff and this is the place. Also, as a history buff, I love that its set inside an old train freighthouse.
I would absolutely do a day trip just to come to this place.

Small, crowded, and convivial, join the queue when entering to order burgers and beer. The beers are served in 12 oz tulip glasses with a good (14 or 15 lines, draught only) selection of West and East Coast standards (e.g. Sierra Nevada & Victory) with some of the more rare Vermont locals like Hill Farmstead. The burgers are grilled over a wood fire and delicious. My wife thinks their kimchee burger with a fried egg on top is the best burger she has ever eaten.
The Worthy Burger is nearly on a par with great Philadelphia bars like The Grey Lodge Pub or the Memphis Taproom and merits a side trip if traveling on I89.

My expectations were very high for this joint and they were surpassed easily.
I was slightly disappointed that they had no Lawson's or Hill Farmstead on tap this time around, but the 15ish taps were packed with quality and diverse beers. Plenty of local stuff like Lost Nation, Jack's Abbey, Citizen Cider, Smuttynose, etc. A couple farther away breweries like Victory and even Green Flash.
The burgers and fries (especially the parmesan truffle fries) are very, very good. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Great condiments and sides (the free pickles are out of this world).
I would highly recommend in all aspects. I only wish they had a little more room!

This place was recommended to me by a store owner on my way up to see my sister- in-law in NH. Problem was, we got to the town where it was but since I didn't write down the name and since it's kind of hidden away, we couldn't find it. But...when we got to my sister-in-law's place, she told us we would be going to a place called the Worthy Burger for lunch the next day since all of her co-workers recommended it. Well, I was not disappointed. The beer selection was outstanding, the food was outstanding, the employees were friendly and helpful and as a bonus, the glassware was just the style I was looking for my home use so I bought a couple. The only reason I didn't give this place a 5 across the board is because I had to pay for the meal and only freebies that are this good would get a 5. I fully expect this place to be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives but I'd like to get there once more before then so I can enjoy it the way it used to be.

Great Craft Beer selection and probably one of the top 3 burgers I've ever had...really.
BEER: Just some of the on-tap beers that stood out were Hill Farmstead Citra, Stone Ruination, Lawson's Double Sunshine, Evil Twin Yin & Yang Stouts and Jack's Abbey Hoponius Union.
FOOD: I got the Worthy Burger with Bacon, Cheddar and Jalapenos. The bacon was thick-cut and overhung their specialty buns. The cheddar was also thick cut...it was like a block of cheese you could taste in every bite. Well Done! The Burger was also very thick (see a pattern here?) almost couldn't bite into it but managed to unhinge my jaw bones and python that shit in! Wow..great tasting burger and cooked perfectly (pink in the middle).
The fries are killer as well...fresh cut and lots of'em. Reminded me of the fries you'd typically get at the fair, only a bit more refined.
ORDERING: Basically just go up to the bar and put your order in with the bartender (no wait staff except for outside deck I believe). An order number is given and called (yelled) out when it's ready.
Overall: GO THERE RIGHT NOW! no...NOW!

Stopped here for lunch at around 2 PM on a Friday. Beautiful sunny day - there were a couple people inside hanging at the bar and a couple tables of people on the deck. We gave the (very nice) bar tender our food and drink order (I went with Hill Farmstead Edward) and waited for our food outside on the beautiful deck.
Not too much later our food came, I had an absolutely delicious burger (cooked medium, perfectly) with jalapenos, bacon and caramelized onions. The french fries were incredible also. They also had a bunch of awesome sauces which I used with the fries.
The beer menu was pretty good - lots of local stuff as well as some Stone and other bigger distribution craft beers. There were maybe 15-20 taps of craft. All drinks came in snifter/tulip-type glasses with the words "Worthy Glass" on them - pretty cool.
I'll definitely be back - all the staff was very friendly, the food was amazing and the beer selection was great (although I only had 1 beer last visit).

in VT? You better check this spot. Hill Farmstead on tap, as well as other 'best in the world beers (Founder's, Lawson's, Dogfish Head). Great burgers and veggie burgers. The pickles are awesome and change all the time. The fries are cooked in tallow... who else does that???

Just a hole in the wall.. .. But holly Molly good beer, good food and great people, and what I love about it is. All the good craft beers served daily bases, and the simple and unique burger menus, including the cheeses and all the pickeled treats and the start of having deserts too. Any ways. I'm sure to recommend anyone that wants to have a real organic burger or a real craft beer to go there... Because I'm very impressed with an overall, and very shortly THE FREIGHT HOUSE BREWERY will be on tap.... Can't wait for that, thanks to Patrick for being an amazing brewer from the Norwich inn... I'm dam sure it will be some really good beers that's for sure.
Thanks Dave for a great place.
