in VT? You better check this spot. Hill Farmstead on tap, as well as other 'best in the world beers (Founder's, Lawson's, Dogfish Head). Great burgers and veggie burgers. The pickles are awesome and change all the time. The fries are cooked in tallow... who else does that???

We decided to go there today because its the closest place to New Hampshire(that I know of) that offers selections from Hill Farmstead and Lawsons Finest Liquids. It was well worth the trip in both the beer selection/quality and food. The menu is focused and had four main selections: Grass fed beef burger, salmon burger, veggie burger, turduckey burger that has a duck confit. The special was a shrimp po' boy sandwich that I should have gotten for the hour and fifteen ride back to Concord NH.

The burgers were just so delicious, I grabbed a second for the ride home. My girlfriend didn't love the veggie burger but we all polished off the huge order of hand cut fries that were as good as any I've tried. Next time I'm heading up to grab a case or two of headies in Waterbury, I'll definitely make sure to sneak a few minutes off of exit 2 on Route 89 in Vermont to chow these burgers and great beers.

Speaking of beers, this is the place. The owner is a super nice and chill guy who knew all about the lineups from Hill and Lawsons. They had Abner, Edward, Life Without Principal and Foster from Hill Farmstead with Double Galaxy waiting for a free tap. Wish the Doub Galaxy was flowing today to drink with the delicious Abner. They had run out of Lawsons(we were there on a Sunday) but he said they had a barrel of Maple Nipple waiting for a tap. Supposedly Heady Toppers will be making their way down soon also. It's a really fun place to go with good food that started with great ingredients(local VT cheeses for your burgers also). The beer selection speaks for itself, they had other great brews on the many taps but we never get past the local VT brews. You really can't beat fresh Hill and Lawsons. This place is worth the trip, grab your appetite and ideally a friend to drive back home.

Just a hole in the wall.. .. But holly Molly good beer, good food and great people, and what I love about it is. All the good craft beers served daily bases, and the simple and unique burger menus, including the cheeses and all the pickeled treats and the start of having deserts too. Any ways. I'm sure to recommend anyone that wants to have a real organic burger or a real craft beer to go there... Because I'm very impressed with an overall, and very shortly THE FREIGHT HOUSE BREWERY will be on tap.... Can't wait for that, thanks to Patrick for being an amazing brewer from the Norwich inn... I'm dam sure it will be some really good beers that's for sure.

I still find it hard to believe that a place this awesome exists so close to home. First, the beer, they usually have 15 great beers on tap. From Hill Farmstead to Green Flash Brewing they have craft brewers covered. The often serve up hard to find beer and its all served by knowledgeable staff at reasonable prices. Beyond the beer is the food. Their local/craft focus continues to their menu with Burgers served with fresh and local ingredients. Try the turducky burger which is exactly what it sounds like. Bottom line is that this is a valuable place to spend a free night if you enjoy good beer and good food from good people.

Recently found out about this place and had to go the following night. It did not disappoint. No longer do I need to drive for an hour to have a great craft beer, something that we were getting very tired of doing. The night I went there were three hill farmstead beers on tap as well as many other craft beer previously unavailable in this area. The service was great, everyone very knowledgable. The burgers and fries were delicious and everything is moderately priced for the high quality of the product. Finally a bar in the upper valley where I will not be forced into a long trail, magic hat, or harpoon. This place is the real deal!

Finally, a great eatery in the Upper Valley. This place is awesome! If your looking for a burger and a craft beer this is the place for you. The burgers are grass feed beef and wood fired. All of the beef, chesses, and bread comes from vermont. The burgers are wood fired and man are they good. The wood fired grill gives them a smokey flavor. The fries are fried in beef tallow. The best fries I have ever had! If your looking for a craft beer and especially a hill farmstead brew or lawsons's this is the place for you. Taps change daily so you never know what will be on . Always great choices.

As for the owners, Dave, Chris and Jason. These guys are knowledgeable and personable. They make you feel at home which is always nice. Kind of like the bar Cheers.

The Worthy burger is more than Worthy and I can not wait to go back!!
