These guys know a lot about beer and are very helpful without being "pushy" while you shop around and select your beer. All the beer is fresh, and the American and European sections are set up nicely.

Mix a Six?... No problem, the guy with the beard got me 2 empty 6 pack cartons and a basket to carry them in. The pretty young lady behind the counter told me that if I had any questions or needed help to let her know and she would get someone for me.

Great selection of American craft beer from all the big names in small breweries. European selection is also well stocked and organized by country. 5 beers on tap that change monthly, I like that they have 'mini-growlers' (12oz) so you don't have to commit to drinking 64oz of the same beer in a day or two. I didn't care for anything they had on tap, this trip, but I have bought a few 'minis' in the past.

I mixed my 2 sixers (12 ipa's from 12 brewers) and got 3 different Middle Ages bombers for just under $30, nice!

It's a 30 - 40 min trip from my house, but they have some beers that my local guy doesn't, so occasionally I make a 'run' here and I'm always glad I did.

Stu from Shoreline Beverage in Huntington station on Long Island is one of the best beer and soda centers. SL has a great craft beer section with almost supermarket long isles of all our favorite craft beer. For the more commercially inclined, Stu has a complete selection to satisfy any palate.
Also, he was the store to carry and showcase Germany's newest and finest beer, BLACK ART BEER GOLD & DARK. He held a hugely successfully out-door tasting that sold out his stock. Stu went out of his way to personal pick up this fine product from Brooklyn before distribution to the Island has commenced.

A big high five to Stu and the folks at Shoreline Beverage for being true to the cause of Fine Brew...

He consistently gets Belgian beers nobody on Long Island has. There are maybe 900 of them, so obviously most aren't that great, but he consistently gets winners. I waited over 3 years hoping to try Gouden Carolus Tripel and last time I was there, he had it and it was one of the best I've ever had. I can't say that I know much about non-Belgian beers as they really hold no appeal for me. He's a fair guy too, took back something I bought that was dark and let me exchange it, not everyone will.
