A: Poured a light goldenish orange color with a nice white cap which fades leaving behind some light lacing
S: Wow, if IBUs could smell....I picked up a good dose of passion fruits, huge citrus notes in the way orange peel, grapefruit and a genrous amount of pine needles
T: Initial blast of bite and citrus, grapefruits and orange peel, underlying passion fruit appears but really sordove buried under the bashing of copious amounts of bitterness and citrus. A booze sting is really appears about midway as does some very light pine. The finish is more bitterness, booze sting, citrus, clean and dry.
M: Medium bodied, this beer is all hops with just enough backbone to keep it legititmate as a IIPA. Very clean, yet very bitter, a growler of this leaves the taste buds demolished and dead.
O: Very well executed.

Had on tap at Reuben's. Review from notes.
A: The beer was a golden orange color with a foamy white cap on top with decent retention. Streaky lacing formed down the sides of the glass.
S: Really nice tropical fruit aroma. Some grapefruit, oranges, and orange peel. There is a little bit of faint caramel and a hint of pine right at the end.
T: Again, quite a bit of citrus up front. Grapefruit, passionfruit, and orange predominantly. The fruit flavors really drown out any sort of malt presence with a nice lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice bitterness on the finish.
O: A solid DIPA from Reuben's, lots of fresh fruit, not overly balanced, but thats fine with me.

On tap into a 4oz sampler glass @ the brewery. Pours a clear coppery golden color.
Aroma is a burst of grapefruit and orange, some pine too. Smells tantalizing.
Taste follows nose. Tons of citrusy tropical hops laid upon an abundant backbone of neutral pale malt. Alcohol content is evident as a warming toward the finish. This is maybe a little sweeter than most DIPAs.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and balanced, typical DIPA.
Overall a big, flavorful beer that packs a punch.
