Batch #1067
Canned on 04/13/18
08:52:19 BOTTOMS UP!
Golden pour, cold and with not much head bubbling up. Lace stays minimal, low carb level rising to the top.
Sweet malt, lightly fruity aromas. Getting some bread and coriander as well. Fairly simple, what you’d expect from the style.
Not in its prime and has fell a little flat, but positive flavors still there. Malty, bready, coriander just like on the nose. A little “Belgian-y”, and with a crisp finish.
Crisp, bready, a little full feeling. Smooth finish.

In a flight at the Nashville airport. A clear yellow beer with a light scent. Crisp and sweet. A bit of a tang with a dry feel to it. Not as hoppy as I like my Pilsners, but probably more true to the genre.

Another solid beer from fat bottom..
Not over the top Belgian yeast flavor but certainly enough to get a taste of it .
Like a cereal tasting craft lager with a splash of a Belgian beer mixed in, maybe not true to type but certainly enjoyable ..
Would buy again.

Even though I gave it a low score this beer grew on me a little as it warmed up. The smell is weak and bready- nothing impressive at all. The taste is surprisingly crisp and zesty. I enjoyed the feel a lot and was happy it was a little stronger. Overall a very average beer, but way way better than any macro lager.
