On-tap poured into pint glass on opening day of tap-room.

Appearance: Dark black with minimal head and minimal lacing.

Smell: Floral/earthy hops up front with dark malts following, pleasant scent profile.

Taste: Hops and dark malt up front with watery finish.

Mouthfeel: Some carbonation up front fading into a watery mouthfeel finish.

Overall: Quite promising up front, but a somewhat weak finish. This beer has the potential to be great. I give it an average rating, but I love the idea.
