Taste: crisp and then smooth, creamy mouth-feel. Bread and fruit notes. Yeast bread and malty nose. pale gold, semi clear, refined head of delicate lattice of lace. Medium body. Easy to drink.

I wanted to like this, and try to like it I did. Nope.
The name, drafty window, sort of foreshadows what the beers experience is, because I can't quite place what I am not enjoying about this beer because it feels like it is on the verge of falling apart in its attempt to wow me.
The aroma had some pleasantness towards it. From recollection. Apricot/pear/apple, some grain, perhaps a bit of funk, but that did not seem to follow through into the palate for mouthfeel. Nor finish. I want to drink this with someone else to pick it apart, because. For me. The Drafty Window seemed to have two minds as to what it wants of itself.

I LOVE trying new beers. Even if they're not that great, I find them interesting. But this beer - wow. Its the first beer I've ever not finished. I disliked it so much, I couldn't even force it. It's got a strong funk, which is normally fine because it's a farmhouse ale and thats the point, it's part of the beauty. But this funk is dominated by a cloying sweet, syrupy taste and feel that just makes my tongue feel gross. I like supporting local beers and am not hard to please by any means, but I find this beer rather terrible.

This tastes nothing like a saison at all.

Slightly sweet with almost a honey flavor. Nice light beer.
