on-tap at last year's state fair, review from notes
look is an orange-amber with a small sudsy head. smell is fruity pine, lemon, apple and orange. taste is a healthy amount of pine, lemon, and fruity esters. slightly slick feel that gets better as it warms.
worth trying, for sure

Enjoyed a pint at the taproom, now enjoying a growler from home. Pours a hazy amber color with two fingers of head that had good retention before settling to a thick cap. Moderate amount of sticky lacing is left down the glass.
Not the most aromatic pale ale. I pick up some floral hops, bready malt, and sweet caramel.
For an APA the flavor runs a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Size wise it is approaching IPA territory. Not as sweet as the aroma would have suggested. More bready than caramel. Nice dose of floral hops. Nice change of pace from the usual C-hops. I really enjoyed the clean finish.
Body is big for an APA. Good carbonation and texture. Very consistant throughout.
A quality brew from one of Minnesota's newest breweries. Keep an eye on these guys.
