A very comfortable place to have a beer in London, this would be a very good bar in Toronto. Clean, neat, organized, good lighting. Tables and a decent sized bar. Electronic lists of taps and bottles, signature great Milos Army service. London is a relatively safe whitebread city and this place reflects that safety and comfort. Best part is having some laughs, drinking a beer with Milos, one of the most Gregorius beer people in the country that explains the loyalty of his quality staff year after year.

23 taps and a growing bottle list. Focused on Ontario craft beer. Open about 100 or so days and getting better all the time. In the past Milos has had a number of Meet and Greet events with local craft breweries and night in which these same breweries have "tap takeovers" in which beers brewed just for the occasion are served. Milos has promised this will continue. These are a great chance to try some unusual and adventurous beers from local breweries.

The food deserves special mention because it is so much better than the average craft beer place. I have eaten there twice and been amazed at the quality of the food - really one of the best craft-beer-focused places at which I have eaten dinner. Even if you are not a beer nut this is a great place to eat.

Highly recommended.

Went here with my wife's family, including my mother-in-law, while in London for a few days. Only a few customers on a Thursday night, but the whole London downtown seemed to be pretty slow that evening.

A - We sat out on one of the patios, but the interior was fairly modern albeit dimly lit. A giant projection screen displays the 23 draft offerings, but it'd be nice to have a few paper copies for those sitting outside so that we don't have to keep walking in and out of the bar for additional info. Things seem a tad Spartan at the moment, but I assume they'll decorate more over time.

Q - Beers were served in appropriate glassware at reasonable temperatures. I was surprised how generous a pour of Great Lakes' BA Porter I received.

Sr - The server was quite nice, and was willing to humor my mother-in-law's ignorance about craft beer and occasional odd request. He also seemed knowledgeable about both the beer and menu items.

Sl - The tap selection is certainly the best in London, and rivals anything you'd find in Toronto as well. Bottles are of course limited by the draconian LCBO, but are well chosen and cover styles not made by Ontario brewers (notably sours and Belgians). Westvleteren XII was available, but somewhat overpriced at $35.

F - We only had fries, but they were pretty good. I only saw the bar menu, so I'm going to hold off giving this a score.

The bill was quite reasonable for Ontario, with most drafts in the $6 range and half-pints available as well. If I'm London again I will definitely return.

This is London’s premier beer destination, owned and operated by award-winning publican Milos Kral. The bar has an open tap room layout with a large projector screen that displays all of the draughts. A beautiful two-sided patio overlooks Carling and Talbot streets and seats about 40 people.

They serve 23 micro taps and 2 casks with excellent style variation and representation from across the province. A limited bottle menu consists of private order Belgians and high gravity brews like Southern Tier Iniquity, DDC Rigor Mortis, etc. The latest rotating draught is Nickel Brook New World BPA.

In terms of food, Chef Matt Reijnen has created entree and bar menus that focus on smoked dishes (meats, veggies, soups), house-made sausages, and upscale pub grub. I recommend the Smoked Wings, Steamed P.E.I. Mussels, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Prices are fair as most pints are under $6 and mains run between $14-19.

What really distinguishes this place, though, is the superb service and knowledge that Mr. Kral, Adil Ahmed, and Nick Farmer provide to their patrons. If you have a question about a beer or food pairing, these guys are more than happy to answer it. I look forward to watching this bar grow as Milos and crew continue to put more Londoners onto craft beer. A mandatory stop in Southwestern Ontario.
