Had on tap at Atlas. Pours a medium amber color with a small head.

Balanced with aromas of crackers, malts and some grains. Not the most complex, but pretty straight forward.

Medium bodied with a solid feel. Balanced with notes of grains and malts.

A solid Oktoberfest. Very drinkable and pretty straight forward.

Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.

Made a very quick stop at Atlas before making my way to the wedding. I mean, I had to try the new O-Fest, man! It pours a clear auburn-copper topped by a finger of off-cream-white foam. The nose comprises light orange zest, toffee, light biscuit, and a good amount of dry caramel. The taste brings in more of the same, with the biscuit really coming through, bringing a strong bready quality to the fore. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, a nice little O-Fest, one that leans heavily toward the grainy, bready end of the spectrum without going too far. Not bad.
