Had this in cask condition on tap at Vivo! in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Poured into a pint glass. Overall, I can say that this is a solid amber ale in all categories. Beautiful semi-cloudy amber brew with a thin white head that retains. Strong smell of hops with some apple in the background. Taste matches expectations for an amber ale -- bittersweet and full of hops. No negative aftertaste. This would be a wonderful brew to enjoy all day long with friends. Will be looking for more Beer Buddy brews here in Japan.
