Poured on tap at the Kootenai Brewing Company. Reviewed live.

A- one finger white head with an ok retention. Nice sticky lacing. Deep brown color with medium clarity. Nice looking winter ale.

S- toffee, dark fruits and sweet notes. Alcohol and prunes, but otherwise a subtle smell.

T- sweet, but some bitterness.

M- medium bodied and biting carbonation.

O- not nearly the best winter warmer I've had, but not nearly a bad one.
