So...a "brewery." Quotes are used because this place is not a brewery. They call themselves one, but they apparently don't brew beer, or at least they don't yet. Or something. I asked if they did have house beers, and the bartender said "not yet." When I asked if they had just opened--which would have been understandable--she informed me that they had been open for a while. Hmm. Okay then.

Now, this place did have a lot of stuff on tap, 50 total I think, and several bottles, though a good portion of it consisted of macros and the "big names" in craft beer, like Sierra, Sam Adams, etc. There were some local options though, which was nice, and an array of foreign stuff, with names like Chimay and Weihenstephaner. A lot to choose from, but pretty tame selections overall.

As far as atmosphere goes, this is pretty much a glorified sports bar, with some elements of a bistro. The bar is big, there are plenty of tables, including a nice outdoor seating area. TVs everywhere, so I assume the place is hoppin' when the game's on. It's nice, but it's not the kind of place you'd see me very often if I lived in the area.

Service was fine. The bartender was young and seemed a bit green, but she seemed to be learning the business, and we were never left waiting for service. Food was pretty good. Mostly comfort foods, sandwiches, some seafoody options, build your own burger. Good.

I really don't understand the "microbrewery" tag this place has, and I think it might be a lie. I didn't see any brewing equipment or tanks of any kind. But who knows, they might still be working on it. But if you are looking for Brickyard beers, you won't find any. An average place overall.
