Notes:
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malt to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taut white head. Then there are the hops - four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ, and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character.

DAY TRIPPAAA
Beige head. Rock solid lace. Color is a clear copper gold.
Taste profile is in your face goodness. A big citrus burst up front. Very tropical. Lots of grapefruit. Maybe a hint of pineapple. Nice malt backbone to even things out a bit. A little bready malts. Kind of reminds me of a malt profile in an English ale for some reason.
Bitter with a nice body. Very smooth. Ends a little sticky.
Overall, this is a fantastic beer. I am happy to have this in the TC. Very flavorful and very drinkable. BAM! Get some of this!

malty and hoppy, malty and hoppy. very bready, with a blast of dank pine. this is a beer i would have hated when i was younger. bitter, but not overly so, mostly a lingering bitter aftertaste.
the next time i go fishing, this needs to be in my cooler

Poured from a 12oz can into an oversized wineglass. Canned on 02/18/13 on the bottom of the can. SIngle purchased by my brother Greg at a local Minneapolis bottle shop for $1.99.
A: Clean nearly clear bright amber with 2-finger off-white big-bubbled head with good retention and clumpy lines of lacing.
S: Big hoppy aroma with grapefruit and pine, a little bit of resin, and a nice floral note to boot. The maltiness is also pretty characterful with crackery, bready aromas. Hops win out but it's reasonably close.
T: The flavor is a great reflection of the aroma with grapefruit and pine leading the way with more resiny bitterness than in the aroma and a moderate floral note as well. The malt component is bready, slightly sweet caramel, and a light crackery component. The hops and malt are worked together very well. This beer was the best one I tried on my week off, up against the entire Odell lineup and Surly Abrasive Ale.
M: THe body is medium with moderate carbonation. No astringency.
O: Indeed has hit a home run with Daytripper - it hits all the hops and malt notes with great balance and an intensity I don't find in a lot of APAs. Great job by Indeed and a must-try.
