I had a 0.5l bottle of this (€2.70) with dinner at the Gasthof Butz in Rothenburg on 30SEP12.

Poured into a weizenbier glass, it had a cloudy, medium orange-golden hue. Had a healthy, rocky, foamy eggshell colored head. Said head ebbed slowly, with lots of lacing in its wake. Nose was quite clovey, with some banana lurking arrears. Body was medium, and it was not overly prickly or airy; just about right for the style.

Flavor was crisp and wheaty, with more banana here than clove. Quite dry, with a hint of light sweetness. A real nice Hefeweizen! Zum Wohl!!
