This has become one of my weekly regular stores to visit. They have really improved over the last year or so, as they renovated and remodeled the entire store; so it looks much cleaner and newer than it once was. This also increased their weekly customer base as a result, so there is good rotation on the beer shelves. They have been very good with keeping up with week to week new releases; so a lot of the more limited local and out of state beers will usually be available. They also have a lot of high profile imports as well, and all of the beer is divided by regions on the shelves. The staff and owners are always around and will gladly help or give beer recommendations to you. Quality is genuinely good, now thanks to the increased customer base; however there are still a fair share of older bottles on the shelves particular in the import sections; though most are high gravity and will age fine. My only main issue with the store is the slightly inflated pricing; and they usually will gouge for highly allocated items. This is not a good store to come for singles though, there is some pretty old beer on the singles shelf; mostly stuff that never sold. I usually come here for bombers and 6/4 packs anyways. I can usually rely on this store to have most limited releases in packs for longer than other stores. They always get a good allocation of cases.

This is the place to go for craft beer if you are in the middle of nowhere! They have a very large selection, lots of dusty bottles on the shelves. The people working there seem nice and willing to help if asked.

This place has a large selection, but it's both way overpriced and potentially old.
When Perrin's Kill Em All first came out in December 2014, it appeared that it would be rather scarce, and my SO really wanted a few bottles. I went to Pine Knob based on an Instagram post that showed they had it. I got there, and it was $24.99 per bomber (all other stores priced it no higher than $18.99 in my experience). While I reluctantly bought one, I did end up returning it a couple hours later after considering the price gouging I had been subject to. I'm not the person to make a scene, so I simply told the cashier that I bought it for my SO, and she told me it was the wrong beer. The cashier took it back with a slight hesitation.
While browsing the selection, I saw a couple of different beers from BrewDog. Having never even seen their beers on the shelves and being a fan of their show, I immediately took notice. Unfortunately, I do not remember which ones they had, but the one I looked at was an IPA (not Punk). The best by date was 2009. Um, no thanks.
I vowed to never even think about setting foot in there again.

Great selection, they have just about anything you could want with one just one catch: Its going to cost you!! Regular stock is overpriced by about $2 per 4 or 6 pack and the rare or hard to find stuff is insanely overpriced. Literally twice what you would pay elsewhere. Staff is not a redeeming factor here either, never been acknowledged by anyone in this store until checkout. Like I said selection is great but that's where the good part ends.

Overpriced. Most expensive place in Oakland County. Wanted $30 for BCBS this year. $13 for KBS last year. Just say NO.
