Brewer Notes indicate it's brewed with Peanuts, and hopped with Citra hops.
Served from the tap at the Cold Point Pub in the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods store. Poured in a slimmer nonic pint glass.
Appears a nice medium chocolate brown color, opaque, solid. Thick creamy off-white colored head. Good head retention as I drink the beer. Aroma is a bit nutty, biscuity, bready, dry. I don't really pick up much hop aroma. And the taste is still dominated by the maltiness as well. If not for the hop variety, I'd say it's actually pretty close to to a standard English-style nut brown ale. Body is on the thicker side, works for the beer. Drinks smooth and easy.
Overall - a nice Winter seasonal from this up and coming brewery.
