Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Reviewed live. Don't know what to expect. I know little of the brewery and less of the beer.
A- Two finger cream colored head, some banana color. Long retention. Like two minutes and still at an inch. Lovely thick lacing and nice density in the head. Medium amber color with semi-clarity. This is as nice a looking IPA as I can remember seeing.
S- Citrusy hops and an extremely crisp and appealing scent of Braeburn apples. Lovely, light and fruity. The hops are subtle but pleasant.
T- Light cidery flavor with a tad of hop oil in the finish. Balances the hops well for an American IPA and does not come off as too abrasive. A touch of alcohol really reigns it in nicely. Bitter finish.
M- Heavier, almost syrupy. Avoids being gross though, with a cloudy sort of feel. Could be improved, but nice and dry on the finish.
O- Mouthfeel could use work, but the appearance, smell and taste are all wonderful.

Poured from bomber into pint glass. Live review.
A: Pours a 2 finger off-white/cream head. Golden orange color. Slightly cloudy. Good retention. Great lace. Looks like a standard light IPA.
S: Citrus! Orange and grapefruit with sweet malts. Not much balance and citrusy hops overpower, but it is kind of nice and refreshing...
T: Very much like it smells. Citrus and sweet malts. Orange is strong from the get go. Surprisingly piney hops finish it off with grapefruit that lingers. Excellent from beginning to end. The lingering grapefruit is very nice and the pine was a pleasant an unexpected surprise. Didn't see that coming.
M: Medium body. Acidic and a little sticky. May be a bit light on the carbonation. Nice bite at the finish.
O: This is a great American IPA. Not my favorite Oregon IPA but it is very good and I would buy it on tap, but probably not in the $6 bomber again. Everything comes together nicely and the intense orange and grapefruit citrus is an awesome combo with the piney hops. This is a win for Gigantic. Not too hoppy with minimal bitterness. Recommended to any beer drinker.

Gigantic Brewing Company - Gigantic IPA - 1pt 6fl oz bomber
Look - Pours amber-orange with a decent soapy head. Great lacing. Minimal carbonation.
Smell - Sweet caramel malts and a touch of hops. Bready.
Taste - Snappy sweet malt with smooth hops over it.
Mouthfeel - Rests sticky and a little boozy but otherwise good drinkability.
Overall - Not bad. Good but not stellar. This one doesn't stand out in the sea of IPAs but it is a great representation of the style.

22 oz bomber purchased in Vermont, of all places..
Beautiful golden-red body, fluffy finger of creamy off-white head.
Nose is crisp clean citrus. Good, but not overwhelming.
Flavor is balanced and lightly sweet. Solid citrus finish, nice grapefruit bite.
Mouthfeel is aspirin tooth stripping and crisp. Effervescent, even.
Overall, a solid brew. The malt/ hop balance is pretty high for a west coaster, but

Gigantic IPA is new to the shelves in Vermont, and I decided it was worth a try for a $6 bomber. This IPA was a pleasant surprize as soon as I popped the top: right away, from the bottle it has that whiff of tropical fruit, and it pours nicely with a cloudy copper tinge leaving a generous creamy head that lasts a good long time. Solid lacing in my imperial pint glassware.
The nose lets you know up front this has all the preliminary elements of a solid IPA: grapefruit, melon, nectarine and bread dough come to mind. The carbonation seems well suited and the flavors are complex and follow the aroma for the most part. There is a lingering aftertaste that is bitter, slightly bready and with a smack of caramel, but with a slight soapiness to it that detracts on the finish. The alcohol is well hidden, and a reasonably decent IPA overall.
All in all, this is a bomber worth a try if you enjoy hoppy, citrusy West Coast IPAs. I would buy McNeil's Sunshine IPA before this one: the price is more reasonable with a superior nose, flavor and finish.
