Appearance has a slight hazy yellow gold color supporting a dissipating head leaving nill lace. Smell is light with sweet grainy aromatics. Taste for a slight second has that genuine pilsner taste that dissipates quickly into a budweiser having a bit more graininess and sweetness. Mouthfeel is light medium with a good spike of carbonation.

12 oz bottle picked up in some random store in San Fransisco and brought back to the UK to review at leasure. Poured into a 'Back Forty' Beer Co straight sided glass on 3 May 2013.
Regular lager look: golden, clear and clean, white head.
The aroma was semi-sweet floral and fruity: a lot more aromatic than most pilsner/lager beers.
The taste was also semi-sweet with a fruity feel within the flavours. I like sweeter brews and this was fine for me.
If this beer had a non-Budweiser label its scores would be a lot higher: it deserves to be appreciated more.
Well done Bud: one of your best beers that I've had anyway.

12oz bottle into pilsner glass.
A - Clear golden with a big, sudsy white head.
S - Faint bready malt, rice, stale grain, oxidized metallic scent.
T - Sweet toasted grain, corn, subtle grassy hops. Light fruitiness, yeast, and a hint of spice on the finish.
M - Smooth, watery, very light bodied. High carbonation, crisp finish.
O - Nothing too offensive about this beer, but there is very little flavor to be found. There are almost no hops to speak of, making this a very poor representation of what a good pilsner should be.

Two fingers of head on a clear, golden colored body. Nice head retention too.
The aroma is faint, some grain?
The taste has a mild lemon bitterness, smooth and nice though.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Not amazing, but descent enough.

12 ounce bottle
Served in a pilsner glass
A - This beer features a golden body and is crystal clear. Three inches of white head rise above.
S - I don't get much. I get some grain and grass. There is the slightest hint of floral hops.
T - It has more flavor than I expected. I detect a sweet corn flavor, but it is balanced by some perceptible hops.
M - Thin and slick. Almost oily on my tongue.
O - 'Twas not a hateful experience. It has some flavor. I at least give A-B a little credit for a little creativity. Maybe some day they can sway public opinion to a wider variety of mass produced beer.

12 ounce bottle, born on date of September 30, 2012 (Julian Date 12274 stamped on label). A buddy recently bought me some of the Project 12 beers since they were on sale (got the 12 pack for just $5.75), figured I might as well try it! Served in a pilsener glass, the beer pours a clear dark gold color with almost an inch white head. Head retention is OK, but there isn't much lacing. The brew smells like sweet and bready malt, along with some corn. Taste is just like the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy to drink with good carbonation. It's not what I'm looking for when I buy a pilsner, but it's not an awful beer either. Worth a try if you can get a single or if you can get some for free. But overall, it's my least favorite of the Project 12 beers I've tried.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden amber color with a tiny white head. The head fades very fast leaving almost no lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a caramel smell with some lighter notes of toffee and bread. Mixed with these aromas are some very light notes of an almost candy nature as well as some light citrus hop smells.
Taste – The taste begins mostly bready with hints of caramel and a citrus hop. As the taste advances more hop of a grapefruit nature come to the tongue as well as some flavors of a light corny taste. In the end a mix of malt with a light sweetness of caramel and corn and a citrus bitterness sit to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the very average side in terms of both its carbonation and thickness. Both are rather appropriate for the style was well as the flavor profile, keeping it drinkable and more refreshing.
Overall –For the price it is a fairly good brew. The flavor at the end is a tad off with the mix of a somewhat corn and bittered citrus taste, but overall its easy drinking and rather refreshing.

look: 3.75 | smell: 1.75 | taste: 2 | feel: 1.75 | overall: 2
Appearance: clear, golden, bone white head, svelt lacing.
Aroma: sweet, pale malts, corn sweetness, grainy, no hop nose.
Taste: sweet cream corn, malt, nutty, herb hints.
***Regardless of being an AB beer or not, this is not very stylistically accurate. Too much sweetness, no hop profile, no balance, forgettable body. Forgettable in general.

From a bottle...poured in La Trappe small tulip glass.
Pours a straw yellow with large head.
Aroma of straw, light honey, slight fig and bandaid.
Modest carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of light amber malt, watery minerals, slight corn sweetness, slight oatmeal, very light hops and soap water. While I don't drink many pilsners, I know a good bit of the style and have been drinking Pilsner Urquell since the early 1980s (not that that is a great example). Perhaps Victory Prima Pils could be said to have a touch too much hops for the style, but this brew is lacking in a bright flavor, hops in general, and even enough malts. While there's some sweetness, the brew is overall off from the style, missing the spritzy or spicy hops, missing any level of graininess, and with little malted barley. Though only a 12 ounce bottle, and while I will finish it, it's neither satisfying no to style.

poored clearish yellow. one inch head that settled quickly steady carbonation. light lacing down the glass.
this is a decent drinking beer from one of the majors. not quite as bold as i had hoped but more of what i expected. you can taste the malts and they are full. lacks a bit in the hops for me but i am a hop head and always want more.
aftertaste was of the spent malts. a little rich for the thirst quencher a bit light for the fireside.
suckem up and movem out!

I like this one. I don't really like Pilsners on the whole, something about them is off-putting on the finish. Budweiser to me has a really...pronounced taste that kinda ruins the palate on the finish. This, on the other hand, has the same sort of pronounced taste...but balanced out (probably with the hop), a nice body with a crisp clean finish.
As far as this company is concerned, they should be selling this stuff instead. This beats their king.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours a translucent yellow with a nice white head that dissipates fairly quickly, but leaves some nice lacing. Smells of light grain but nothing too strong or complex, but sweet. Tastes of sweet grain and water, not too complex, but very refreshing. Beer is carbonated nicely, but a tad too much, very light bodied, and goes down very smooth. Overall, an average beer.
