Notes:
Our Pumpkin Wheat seasonal offering combines the smooth taste of Shock Top with the flavors of Fall. We start with a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale and then brew with ripe pumpkins and a variety of autumnal spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, for a refreshingly smooth beer that fully captures all the flavors of fall.

12oz twist off bottle at fridge temp poured into a snifter.
pours out a very cloudy deep copper orange color with a nice 2 fingers of head off the pour that settles to a nice retentive layer. some lace. looks pretty much what i imagined a pumpkin wheat to look like.
the aroma started out somewhat promising, with some pumpkin, cinnamon, and spice, but it got pretty bland pretty quick with kind of a bland smelling malt/ grain mixing things up.
follows the aroma, a little pumpkin and fall spice, very slight peppery spice with a grainy, bland malt, almost corn like.
finishes pretty light and somewhat watery. over carbonated as well.
this is pretty much a light pumpkin ale, didnt really get any witbier like flavors out of it. about on par with what i expected. something i would definatly avoid in the future. tastes like a decent pumpkin ale mixed with bud.
