Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a tulip glass.

Appearance: Beer is a nice, translucent amber color with a foamy eggshell white head. Moderate polka-dot lacing on the edges.

Smell: Rich in pumpkin content, with an almost overwhelming bubblegum scent combined in equal portion. Gentle spice notes. Were it not for the bubblegumminess, it'd be nearly perfect.

Taste: Bubble gum. :-( Gentle grapefruit vibe also, a mellow wheatiness, and finally, somewhere underneath all that, a sliver of pumpkin pie. A bit too much sourness.

Mouthfeel: Not bad. Decent carbonation, but a little thin for a pumpkin beer, in my opinion. Still, being a wheat mix, not terrible.

Overall: Certainly not the best pumpkin ale I have had this season...but also not the worst beer I've had this season.
