Personally, I've helped polish off several cases of Budweiser, and I must admit, if this was the only beer left in the world, I would still help polish off some more.

The appearance of Bud is about what you'd expect, golden with bubbles and some head. Honestly, I've never really cared for the smell of Budweiser. It kind of reminds me of funk, but not overwhelmingly so. Depending on how long the beer has been in the holding vessel, the taste can be any where from acceptable to bad. If its fresh, expect the lager taste of malt and hop.

All in all, I feel that Budweiser deserves its spot in the convenient store cooler. When you're kicking it with your buds and need something readily available to get wasted on, Budweiser would be a solid choice.

A: The appearance is typical. A pale straw color with a pop pop fizzy coca-cola head that deteriorates pretty fast.

S: Faint malts, cooked vegetable smell, no hop spiciness/grassy smell. Pretty offensive.

T: Just plain distasteful, all I can get is faint barley malts, some of that beechwood taste... I guess. A LOT of carbonation, and so as the cooked vegetable corn adjunct, pretty nasty.

M: Pretty watery but it's heaviness is from the corn adjuncts I believe. Light mouthfeel as this beer is easy to slam down on a hot day, just make sure it's ice cold. Nonetheless, it has all the traits of Bud light, just more corny/malty taste.

O: Just a typical American adjunct lager that is meant for people to slam on a hot day after maybe some lawn work or whatever. But if you're expecting complexity and enjoyment, turn somewhere else.

A: Light and limpid yellow body, a thin white head when serving in its right temperature.

S: Almost without smell, a faint malt smell can be detected.

T: Some malts can be feeled, but almost no hops at all, like the nose the taste is too faint.

M: Refreshing, with some sweetness and low bitterness, nothing special.

O: Another American Adjunct lager perfect as a session beer in hot days, but if you look for something special and complex: avoid Budweiser!
