This beer is retired; no longer brewed.
An unfiltered amber wheat ale with a slight caramel sweetness and refreshing citrus note. Brewed with Cascade and Willamette hops from the Pacific Northwest and Hallertau hops from Southern Germany, Hop Hound certainly lives up to its name. The amber hue results from the blend of caramel, wheat and pale barley malts.

This beer poured a dark gold with a small head and no cloudiness
Nose is rather bad at first but air helped it quite a bit. Then I noticed grain and yeast with a little citrus
Taste is malty with orange, spice and yeast. Comes across a little sour to me. The mouth feel is medium carbonation and not bad.
Drinkability is OK but this is just not a standout. Not good not bad.
