12oz to flare pint, pours a reddish amber, slight cream colored head fades

smells of roasty malt, sweetness, biscuity, definitely malt forward

taste is of nice bitterness, roast malt/breadiness, caramel sweetness, aroma hops are barely there all the hopping is focused toward the bittering, pretty good balance and flavors, way better than killian's for being macro made.

mouthfeel is of a good body, bitterness is quite nice, nice heavy flavors, good carbonation, lingering residual yeastliness and hops dry out the finish, easy drinking and cheap cheap cheap - can't complain.

Appearance: Dark red almost a brown amber color. It had a dark tan head and lace that was thin and disappeared quickly.

Smell: It smelled like caramel with a small amount of hops to the nose.

Taste: The flavor had tones of cereal and burnt caramel with also a mild bitterness. The aftertaste was an odd sour taste.

Mouthfeel: It had a medium body with a little carbonation bite.

Overall: It is alright. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it but it was in a sample pack.
