Brewed using the finest barley malt, select grains, all-imported hops and a pure-cultured yeast strain. The special choice of grains combined with the extended mashing process produces a smooth, refreshing beer with fewer carbohydrates.

None other than golf beer on a hot day. Tastes like beer flavored water but yet is not as unpleasant as that may seem. However, many bartenders tell me this beer is very popular and both me and them are confused as to how.
Very forgettable beer.

The upscale club cans do mask some of the shame you'll feel while indulging. Ultra receives more hate than deserved. It's not good, but there are certainly worse options.

Poured from a 24 ounce can into a nonic pint glass.
Ratings based on Light Lager ratings.

L - 2 - tight, bubbly half inch head quickly dissipates into a white froth that's laying on the surface. The color is a very pale, flat, yellow with tiny bubbles of carbonation rising through it.
S - 3.25 - corn, little biscuit, and a tiny bit of hops!
T - 3.5 - This is interesting. First thing is a corny, grainy taste then a slight malt sweetness finishes things. This beer isn't naturally sweet like Busch Light was, this is a natural, subtle sweetness that comes from malt. Actually finishes with a tiny hop bitterness that comes through the corn background. Nice.
F - 2 - The feel is kinda thin and watery. Disappointing considering the subtle the malt presence that's been presented so far.
O - 3.25 - This beer surprised me. It's Mich Ultra which we all "know" is crap. However upon closer examination with an open mind it's not too bad. For a light lager that is.
Ultra is slightly better than Busch Light because this actually has some "flavor.:

Had this on the airplane - why does United have such a bad selection of beer?
Drinking out of a small tumbler.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a small head.
Smells slightly of corn.
Weak mouth feel.
Very weak taste.
Water is a better option.

All Ultra and no Michelob. With Michelob in the name I expected so much more. One of the lightest, tasteless beers out there. Anheuser-Busch has the capabilities to do better.
