Regardless of the retired designation, I also got this beer on-tap at Bahama Breeze in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Not an exciting beer, and I didn't even realize at the time it was AB but it was bland for a red. It was smooth and easy to drink though. Certainly the best offering on the beer list, and unique at least that it seems it's only served at this chain. If you're at Bahama Breeze, it's your only bet for something different, but not particularly original either. Overall not a bad beer though.

On tap tonight at Bahama Breeze in Tyngsboro.
Comes to the table a deep amber color without much of a head at all. The aroma is very malty and sweet with a bit of brown sugar and caramel. Little to no hop aroma. The flavor follows the nose; a sweet sugary caramel and burnt sugar concoction with little to no hop flavor or bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. One glass was enough for me. There's really nothing objectionable here in fact its not bad for an InBev brew, it just held nothing inspiring either.

A: Nice brownish red. Little head.
S: Not a lot here. Watery and malty which is a theme with this beer.
T: Actually does not taste that bad. Not a complex taste but very sweet and malty. For a lager it's a pretty good showing. It is also a little watery.
M: Pretty watery and a little too bubbly but certainly doable.

Overall not a terrible beer. Doesn't bring a lot to the table but it's definitely drinkable. I could see that some people might find it too sweet but I think this could appeal to beer lovers as well as the average person.

Amber color with thin off-white head. Pretty good bit of lacing along sides of glass.

Smell is malty. Little sweet bready smell.

Taste is sweet malt with a little bit of fruit to it as well. No bitterness.

Light to medium bodied with good bit of carbonation. Very drinkable.

Overall this was better than expected. Definitely worth getting if you are at a Bahama Breeze. Would'nt go out of my way for it, though.

A: clear, amber brown. Quarter finger head.

S: malt and sweet caramel notes

T: malt and lager yeast taste. Some caramel hop (not much here) and honey notes. A semisweet finish.

M: crisp and a little watery, light to medium body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: drinkable. Pretty much a standard red with not a lot to say about it. One of the better beer choices at the bahama breeze in jax.

There's really not much to be said about this beer. I sometimes have it when I go to Bahama Breeze because it's less expensive than their other draft offerings. It's a basic amber lager that's a touch sweet but still well-balanced. The malt is bready, slightly toasty, and sweetish. There aren't many hops in there, but they do have a kind of behind-the-scenes presence. I'd equate it with a Yuengling Lager, but I think it's better than that. So, overall, it's an average, drinkable lager that's not really worth seeking out but might be worth trying if you've never had one.

On-tap at Bahama Breeze in Orlando.

A - Very nice red amber color beer with two fingers of white head that didn't stay for long. Sides of glass left surprisingly clean.

S - Sweet caramel malts, some light hopping aroma, and that's really about it. Smells very and overly sweet.

T - Much too sweet, tasting like a lot of caramel malts and a little bit of honey. Some artificial fruit flavor, kind of like banana, is an interesting but not good addition. Turns a touch soapy on before a super grainy aftertaste. It's much too sweet.

M - A little watery, moderate carbonation, light bodied.

O - It's really not that good, and was hard to get through my 20 oz. pour for such a light beer. Too sweet, will pass.

Like everyone else, I had this beer at Bahama Breeze on tap. Pours an amber red, not cloudly. The smell is a little sweet and hoppy. The taste is a bit odd...kind of like Killians, which I am not a fan of. A like sourness in the flavor which could be from some toasted grains. But this is better, decent drinkability.

On Tap at Bahama Breeze. They claim is was made for them and only them and brewed by AB.

appearance: deep dark reddish brown with a loaded head and good retention.

smell: some caramel malty aroma but not much

taste: very low bitterness is any. some decent malty flavors.

mouthfeel: medium bodied

drinkability: actually not a bad AB product. I would not go there just to drink this beer but a decent option while at Bahama Breeze.

On tap at Bahama Breeze in Cherry Hill NJ..Amber colored beer with a rapidly fading head.Aroma and taste both were mainly caramel malts.Refreshing smooth and tasty.I'm not sure why they say it's retired but I would recommend to try it if you are ever at a Bahama Breeze restaurant.

Tap at Bahama Breeze

Pours a clear amber red with small head. No real retention.

Smells like barley and mildly sweet grains.

Taste was barley with a bit of a coppery aftertaste. Subtle hops if any.

Moderate to thin with mild carbonation tingle.

So-so. Easy to drink a few. Nothing offensive but nothing to bring you back to it either.

The house brew at Bahama Breeze in Duluth Georgia...

A- Pours a clear light amber color with a thin white foam head that leaves the slightest bit of lace.

S- A tiny bit of hoppy resin and citrus scents. A bit of a 'rye' like sourness that isn't offensive, but definitely unexpected.

T- A bright hoppy taste with hints of orange peel and sour rye. A sweet finish that was pretty strong.

M- Crisp and easy with an ok finish and a decent amount of carbonation.

D- Worth trying. I don't know if this beer was attempting to by 'rye like' but it did have a bit of sourness to it. Not off-putting just not what I was expecting.

The aroma has sweet biscuits and a small but detectable amount of hops. The appearance is deep amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a caramel element. The palate is smooth. I like this one pretty good but it has just a bit of an astringent taste to it.

Appearance: Red-amber body with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Highly effervescent. Why so gosh-darned fizzy, Aruba Red?

Smell: Unimpressive, mild aroma smelling of toasted grains.

Taste: Lightly toasted maltiness with a fair amount of sweetness. Very faint spicy hops with an almost imperceptible bitterness. Finishes with a lingering taste of shabby, flabby grains.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Fizzy, biting carbonation. Too fizzy, in fact, this thing is like a beer-flavored soda.

Drinkability: Overall, it's a bit reminiscent of Killian's. Easy drinking, but the high level of carbonation leaves you belching into tomorrow. Come to Bahama Breeze for the food, not for the beer.

The "house brew" at Bahama Breeze. Had a burnt red color with a small white head. Lots of bubbles floating around.

The smell was a bit offsetting. It had a thick, syrupy aroma with some metal in it. Fortunately, it didn't translate into the flavor.

Taste was pretty solid, if unremarkable. It had some thick, toasted grain flavors followed by sweet caramel. Not much in the hops department.

Felt smooth, though a bit heavy. Maybe it was the carbonation.

Overall, a pretty nice beer. I was surprised to see it was from AB.
