Pours clear golden pilsener with decent white head and good aroma: grainy with strong herbal hops. Appearance of the beer is too good to be a truth. Taste is more disappointing: too watery and disharmonic. Bitter enough, but at the same time not well-balanced. Medium body and average carbonation.

Pours straw gold with large soft head that fades to thin white layer rather fast, very lively and full of large carbonation bubbles. Aroma is grainy malt and few floral hops.
Taste is mild grainy malt with stronger bitterness, clean with medium-dry finish and weak bittery aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light with slightly above average carbonation.
Overall, not a bad Pilsener, much better than similar cheap brews.

Beer bottle (33cl.), tasted in 2001.
Appearance : yellow color, with white foamy head (not persistent).
Smell : hops and grain aroams.
Taste and mouthfeel : sweet hoppy, cereal. back in bitterness persistence.
Drinkability : a not impressed beer in the style German pilsener.

From a 50 cl can, this brew is a light yellow color, perfectly clear, sporting a modest frothy white head. There's a bit of grain and grass in the aroma, but all the sensations are faint and distant. The beer is a bit tinny, with a very light and watery body. Restrained sweetness, but it's still evident in an omnipresent undercurrent. There's a bit of pleasant bitterness in the finish. The beer isn't a complete loss, but it's basically a run-of-the-mill lager.

Pours a pale straw color with a light, thin eggshell white head. Not much retention and no lacing. Mildly grainy in aroma, with some light hopping creeping through. Overall, very euro lager in the aroma. A significant malt sweetness upfront moving towards a light bitterness towards the finish. Not quite as clean or as refreshing as I'd hoped for, and the DMS level is almost at its threshold. Not a bad lager, but there are certainly finer, less fruity, examples. It's consumable, just not very interesting or noteworthy.

Borderline mediocre brew recently introduced to the shelves at monoprix (reason for which I got my hands onto it). This beer, with all the regular specs of most macro lagers certainly has no special magic to it, because the taste, vague, watered down and only slightly hoppy combines with an uninteresting fizzyness in the mouth that renders it to be (!) yet another lager. Congrats to them germans.
