A - Pours a pale yellow straw that is very hazy. Almost one finger white head with little retention
S - Nice smelling beer. Lots of lemon and yeast with some underlying malt aromas
T - A little spicy upfront. Clove maybe? Lots of lemon and yeast flavors follow just like the aroma.
M - Pretty thin beer. Definately easy drinking with lots of carbination when it hits the mouth
O - An easy drinking wheat beer. here isnt anything spectacular about it, but then again thats probably not what they were trying to produce. Very tasty and I could see myself putting back several.

Wasatch White Label has a thick, frothy, white head and a hazy, very bubbly, yellow-golden appearance, with a little bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of lemon, coriander, a touch of banana, and white bread. The taste is the same, with a good amount of sugary sweetness in there. Bitterness is essentially nonexistent. Mouthfeel is light to medium and soft, and Wasatch White Label finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and highly drinkable. This beer is delicious and well made. I rate it excellent.

Beer #38 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
This is a very lemon-forward witbier. And, I am surprised at how much I actually like it. The sole reason being that this is such a difficult style to pull off, and you really don't see many American breweries executing this well, or even half-well. I liked this one so much that I neglected to finish the review before I finished the beer.

Pours very light yellow with a tall, white head. There are numerous tiny bubbles rising in the beer. The beer smells of orange with some spices. It also smells a little sweet. The aroma reminds me of orange juice. The fruity nature of this beer is apparent, particularly with the orange flavor. I pick up some of those spices and the wheat malt as well. There's some mild sweetness, but it's also tart. The body is light with strong carbonation. The beer is smooth. The drinkability is high. This is a good beer, but it's not a witbier I would go out and purchase again.

Poured into a pint glass, this beer is nice to look at; its got a nice golden body that semi-cloudy, I see no carbonation what so ever, and its topped off with a nice this white and bubbly head, about one and half fingers thick and it dissipates fairly quickly to about one finger in thickness. There’s some really nice lacing in this beer. Not much to the smell, some spices, orange peel. The taste is pretty good, mild flavors overall, wheat and citrus fruit come through. It’s not as crisp as it looks, sweet throughout with slight tart flavors when it hits the sides of your mouth. The spice come through just a bit, but I can’t detect the citrus fruits in the aroma. Its got a light body and is easy on the tongue, this is a great beer for the hot days. The aftertaste is mildly tart, the spices in it are more evident here and there’s a very slight hint of alcohol.

Poured into a pint glass.
3.0 A: Lightly hazed medium yellow color. One and a half fingers of pillowy white head. Retention is about average and a short ring of lacing is left. There's a great deal of yeasties floating about throughout.
4.0 S: Wonderful nose on this. Pepper, clove, and corriander spiciness. Clean neutral malts. Light hay with grassy hops.
4.0 T: This is just how I like my wits. Big spiciness of pepper and corriander with clove picking up the rear. Clean malts with a light yeastiness.
4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a light spritziness. Superbly smooth. The yeasties don't effect the feel.
4.0 D: Solid all around. I wouldn't mind another.

This beer pours a hazy, but clear golden color. The head is an inch and a half in height, and recedes quickly into a small cap of lacing. I prefer witbiers to be more cloudy, but this beer isn't completely uncloudy. The aroma is of lemon zest, bitter orange peel, and some faint coriander in the background. It is a rather strong aroma, but lacks true depth. The taste is similar to the aroma, but with a little more coriander. Again it is quite strong, but after the first layer of flavors there isn't much else. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a decent witbier that I wouldn't complain about drinking again. I don't see myself buying it again though.

12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.
LOOK: Pale golden yellow, good tiny bubbled lacing after a hard pour.
SMELL: Coriander, light orange zest, faintly peppery, bready, nutty yeast, floral
TASTE: Smooth, slightly creamy, coriander, orange peel, citric pith, plums, flowery, doughy biscuits, semi-dry finish
Very well put together and no soapy character which many US brewers love to kill this style with. Good drinking all around and I love that it is 6.0% abv ... bit more character.

Poured chilled in large wine glass in SLC.
A: very carbonated; a 2-finger head dissipates relatively quickly; champagne-like in appearance and color
S: bright, pear-ey aroma; yeast; persistent
T: very mild Belgian; frity and sweet, with strengths in pear and banana; light hops, little bitterness; close to a spiced white wine

This beer has a small pure white head the quickly dies above a clear golden colored beer.
The aroma is a mix of cloves, floral blossoms, spices, with maybe a little hops hiding in there.
Cloves and other spices attack the taste buds and quickly recede leaving a slight clove dryish aftertaste.
Pretty decent tasting, a little different than most beer but well worth a try. I'd like to know the food pairing for this beer.

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass.
Look – light golden in color, clear, with about half a finger’s worth of foam that dissipates quickly.
Smell – floral aroma, more malty than hoppy.
Taste – floral taste as well, with a bit of a wheat-like taste to it too, but masked by a mature earthiness. The late middle and aftertaste have more of a clove-like taste.
Mouthfeel – pretty well balanced, but leans a little more toward the watery side.
Overall – interesting and good taste. Not terribly intriguing, but not boring at all, and still a good tasting brew.

Had this beer on tap. It poured a light, light golden color but surprisingly more opaque than anticipated. It has a fruity -spicy smell. The taste consit of crisp malt, spice, orange/tangerine. A nice mouthfeel. Overall, this beer is preferable to other beer in the. Same category.

The appearance was really pale. I didn't like it.
The mouthfeel is thinish and dry. It's very clean and there's a lump 1/4th of the way through. Carbonated
It smelled cheapish
It tasted like citrus, orange, and lemon. It was nice.
Overall, it was a cool beer.

A fairly sweet and rich pale wheat beer. Pours nicely in the wine glass with lots of lacing and a creamy mouthfeel. Nice nose of German wheat esters and light on the spices. A tart finish to go with the rather mellow maltiness. The watery mouthfeel is refreshing but seems more substantial than many Wits. Slight bitter tang, like from a touch of orange peel.
Slightly stronger than average for the style, but it's a rewarding quaff. Thoroughly drinkable especially if you enjoy lots of carbonation.

A - Pours a crystal clear chardonnay color with a small white head that dissipates immediately. No lacing left behind.
S - Banana, orange, white pepper, clove, honey coated wheat.
T - Candied orange, banana, mild spicy bubblegum, faint banana, honey, clove hits on the back end. The malt is sweet but clean. Finishes with a dry bubblegum sweetness.
M - Light bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp clean finish.
Not your typical looking Wit. Good bubblegum and banana yeast esters but seemed to lack the thickness in the feel. Very clean and easy drinking but not sure if I would seek it out.

Had this at the Friendly Spot in San Antonio
It poured a white gold color with a white thin head. Very transparent. Normally I expect some cloudiness.
The aroma was on the citrus side.
Like the smell, the flavor had a citrus aspect along with apple cider characteristics. There as a weak sour apple flavor. It didn't have a stand out wheat flavor like other witbiers. There was some spice flavors in the background but I couldn't really pin point anything.
It was sharply carbonated like mineral water.
There website claims it's like a Blue Moon, but better! I suppose... I guess...
For the most part I am indifferent. I wish the brewery well.

The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is pretty basic for a Belgian white. I get a lot of wheat and coriander, with some orange and lemon citrus notes mixed in. The flavor is also pretty straightforward. The wheat is complimented by the coriander and slightly bitter orange peel. Thin mouthfeel and medium, soft carbonation.

Poured from a bottle into an imperial pint glass.
it's a clear pale color with a small bubbly white head. Pretty mediocre looking brew I think.
The aroma is faint but slightly citric and a hint of honey. Those white ale spices are there just not abundant.
The taste though, great flavor to it, honey and lemon zest with a slight hop bitterness at the end. Much more bold and satisfying than the aroma.
The body is a little more full than the beer appears, pretty nice.
Overall this beer redeemed itself and could be a nice summer drinker.

Thanks to Tom for grabbing this one for me. Born on date: 7/27/11. Poured into straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow with under 1/4 inch of white head that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing. Lots of clingy bubbles hung on the side of the glass throughout the duration of the beer.
The aroma was very wheat forward, almost Hefe like (without the yeast), with a hint of orange and just a bit of spice. The flavors were similar, very subdued, none of the crisp, well defined flavors of a great Wit.
The body was too thin, the beer just lacked substance. Drinkability was good, the beer went smooth and easy. Overall, not a terrible beer, just a small touch below average. If you see it, it might be worth a shot.

Into a tulip glass, it pours a hazy pastel yellow with a soft orange glow. Some foam rises up, but not especially long lasting. There's a swirling skim of broken foam on the surface, a clinging ring around the edges, with random flecks of spotty lacing.
Soft coriander aroma, sweet with a little citrus also. Somewhat mild but traditional, thankfully not overly spicy or sweet.
Creamy feel. Orange/banana creamsicle and floral traces of coriander. Mellow and lightly sweet, wheaty and slightly dry in the aftertaste. Smooth supple feel with light carbonation. Balanced and textbook for the style, nicely put together.

A - Straw with slight cloudiness and thin lace that continues to form as bubbles come to the top
S - sweet slightest yeast smell

M - light and tiny tight bubbles keep it lively and refreshing

Bottle to Pilsner
12 oz
Bottled- I think....2/2?/11
Total Wine and More Las vegas
App- Lighter, clear yellow and a bit thin looking in glass. The thing with this one was a bit of a average head vs nothing at all. A thin line of bubbles on this one as well.
Smell- Its very muted but this has a nice nose for a witbier. You can get alot of the essence in a few whiffs. It has some wheat, spice and peel, but was very tame and mellow.
Taste- Very straight forward wit but with some muted flavors and a bit old and faded. (my bad). Its peel in texture with some hops and spice to balance.
Mouth- A lighter bodied beer with a almost high carbed level. Leaves a nice spice/coriander flavor.
Drink- It was a 12oz for a $1 and change. Ill take the new beer and the review. It wasnt bad. It was one of the better wits Ive had. On tap in Utah i'd have this again.

Poured with the yeast a tall EKU 28 glass. Light straw yellow color with a bit of haze. Lots of coriander and a bit of lemon on the nose. Creamy carbonation and a bit more body then you see on many Wit beers, which is not a bad thing. Not my favorite wit of all time (that might be Hitachino) but definitely worth a look and one I would buy again.

12oz twist off bottle. Born 3/21, reviewed 5/16
Received this bottle from the very generous pokesbeerdude in a recent LIF I won. Thanks chuck! Poured into a SA perfect pint glass.
-Pours a clear straw yellow with a fizzy white quarter inch head. It's extremely lively and active. foamy with little lace.
-Smells of coriander off the bat. lot's of orange and spice as well. some yeast and brown sugar, maybe a little pumpkin pie in the backround and a little banana.
-ooo. The taste is sweet and spicy. I like it. lots of residual sugars and spice. This is a thirst quencher with lots of bubbly carbonation. A little thin, but still appealing. Glad I got to try it. cheers!
