The Full Suspension is a decent beer and one of the better offerings from this brewery. The color did not appeal to me, it was a cloudy light copper but had a decent white head that laced well. The nose carried pine and citrus and hints of spice. The taste started with pine and citrus flavors then turned dry on the pallet which to me turned the flavor to a slight spice. The mouthfeel was fine and could handle a coupel of these without issue. Certainly worth a try.

Cool orange color, thought the color would be so much lighter. Developed a thick, long lasting off white head on it, about 1" in depth. Aroma was lacking in the hops department, but landed squarely in caramel range. A treat to those who want a malt centered aroma pale ale, a disappointment for those who want more of an aromatic hop experience.
Taste, lots more of the caramel and a slight hop bitterness vibe that contributes hardly anything in the taste aspect of a hop. The malt flavor is still toasty, and lighter than one would expect to create such an impressive orange color throughout the beer's life. The yeast has kind of a chewy/sticky on your teeth vibe going.
This is like a pale ale for those who are against hops and alcohol. I think the mild toastiness and the malt flavor is what saves this, but it isn't exciting, and the flavor it does have going for it is not what I want to be the 'star' of the show, I'd rather it be in a supporting role.

12 oz bottle, "born" 11/06/12 - so not super fresh by any means.
A: Pours a cloudy dark orange color. 2 finger head that is a mix between fluffy and fizzy. From appearance it looks very carbonated.
S: Smells very bready. Strong malt character. Definitely hoppy as well. Some citrus notes - orange peel.
T: Hop character is very mild, as is the bitterness. The bread/biscuit malt character is prominent. Not much sweetness. Not much anything to be honest. Very bland and boring.
M: light body. High carbonation. Good creaminess.
O: Very average. Good if you're looking for a sixer you could smash in an hour. Granted, this wasn't fresh, but I prefer more flavor in my beer.

Had on-tap at Squatters Pub in SLC.
A: rusty orange and cloudy; cream head leaves a nice amount of webby lace while managing some good retention.
S: light grapefruit rind; not much malt aroma; pretty big hop aroma for a 4% beer.
T: grapefruity hops... cascade/chinook - esque; light caramel malt is there - barely; lacks a little complexity but not bad; has a slight gummy / sorghum taste on the end.
M: light-bodied; moderate carbonation; a tad thin and watery.
O: good for what it is - a 4% American pale ale. I'd have it again, for sure.

On draft at the SLC airport.
Appearance: Hazy copper with a nice, thick crown of foam.
Smell: Like walking through a field of grapefruit trees on the day of harvest. Absolutely amazing.
Taste: Definitely hop forward, but balanced with precision. Just enough malt to keep it interesting. Citrusy and clean with a sweet, lingering grapefruit finish.
Mouthfeel: Light and crisp. The carbonation keeps things moving and it has the good sense not to overstay its welcome.
Overall: I can’t understand why this isn’t one of the most sought after sessionable pale ales in the country. It’s brilliant.

Beer #17 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
There are a lot more malts on this than I would have anticipated, or wanted really. Turns into this too tangy kind of production that just doesn't have the right kind of balance for the style. I mean, it's drinkable, but the high level of malts just push it to a level that doesn't really work for me. The nose on it was really awesome, for the first few minutes at least.
