Presentation: 12oz brown twist-off top bottle. No freshness date.
Appearance: A very cloudy (unfiltered), pale, straw yellow beer with a healthy pure white creamy foam head.
Smell: Light banana, clove, musty spice, yeast and grain.
Taste: Light to medium bodied with a smooth & very creamy mouthfeel. Malt sweetness is light, but present with mild toasted, sweet banana flavours. Bitterness is refreshing & lemony. It peaks, bites then tappers off. Some spice interrupts and mingles, then a musty yeasty grain flavour/feel follows and lingers straight into the slightly dry, grain tannin finish.
Notes: A bit thin, but still enjoyable. A nice Hefewiezen that would make a great session beer. Easy drinking.

APPEARANCE: This beer, poured from a tap into a weizen glass, produced a white foamy 3/4" head that dissipated quickly leaving thin head lacing. Carbonation was moderate in a cloudy yellow body. Looks kind of enticing.
AROMA: A light aroma of wheat along with a peppy hit of citrus hops, moderate banana, very light cloves and a bit of spice. Definitely a pleasing whiff.
TASTE: Somewhat the same as the smell -- light wheat and citrus, moderate banana, light spices with a hint of cloves. The bitterness from the citrus hops is satisfying. It hits you up front, then gives way to the wheat taste at the end.
MOUTHFEEL: This beer has a medium body with a smooth texture, soft carbonation and thin body lacing that dissipates quickly. The initial flavor is lightly bitter with a pronounced sweetness at the finish that lasted for a moderate length of time.
DRINKABILITY: Easy to drink and repeatable, this is a decent session beer -- perfect for a summer day. It's not equivalent to the great European hefeweizens but is a good example of the banana-rich taste of American versions of the style. It offers a good price-value ratio and I'd be happy to buy it again and serve it to friends.

Had on-tap at Wasatch bar in Utah airport.
Pours clouded yellow with a thin white head. Some lacing sticks.
The smell is of plenty of banana - almost like a frozen banana shake - some wheat tang and a hint of clove in back.
The taste is of bananas - like a banana cream-sickle (sp?) Some clove and wheat tang there, too. It has a crisp, refreshing finish.
Light-bodied, a bit thin, but fairly creamy.
Not really on-par with traditional Bavarian classics, but as a banana-ey American Hefe Weizen it sure holds its own. Very drinkable and refreshing.

I enjoyed this beer as well, had it waiting for a plane as well, Overall this one and the evolution made me want to try the other beers they offer, I can tell that they actually put time and effort into the brewing process. Not my favorites mind you but if they offered them in Oklahoma I would probably buy them on a regular basis.

On tap at Red Lobster St. George, Ut. Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly to a thin ring leaving a good lace. Light almost cloudy pale amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Faint wheat nose. Starts sweet/sour flavor, missing yeast flavor, lemon finish. Served waaaay too cold, better warmer, $4.50 for a 18oz glass.

Light gold color, slightly hazy, large white foamy head. Aroma is grassy, grainy and sweet. A light bodied hefe-weizen. Mild malts and hops. Slight citrus flavor. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a large marshmallowy-white head. Smells of yeast, cloves, citrus. Taste: wheat malt up front with yeast and faint fruitiness. Not too complex. Finish is dry, slightly bitter and banana-y. Nice crisp beer for the price and probably the best wheat beer brewed in Utah.

Very light in color for a hefe-weizen, with gorgeous wisps of yeast from the bottom. Extremely appetizing appearance.
This Hefe-weizen is more similar to the lighter bodied imports such as Ayinger. In fact, it might be comparable to a nice Belgian Wit.
Very assertive in fruitiness, though very light bodied. Not much clove but the bananna is in full force. The best Hefe-weizen in Salt Lake City area.

This beer has a nice estery banana aroma and hazy yellow color. This beer has nice mellow ester flavor and lighter medium body. The smooth mouth-feel and sharp hop bite make for a well-rounded flavorful summer offering.
