One of the variants of the popular Ten FIDY, this version, as the name implies, is a soured version. On-tap at the Tasty Weasel, on to the beer:
Black as ink with almost no head formed on the pour. The nose is a sweet and sour ride, filled with notes of coconut, sour grapes, and cocoa. Not overly sour, as there's enough stout in this to remind one that this is a stout at the base. Now upon tasting it your opinion may change. The flavor takes on a much more intense sourness. It's a gangbang of soured grapes and wine. Eventually, little squirts of roasted malt are able to ride in with the sour grapes. The aftertaste is where the stout is at its most intense relative to the sourness. It's a full bodied beer with very low carbonation, and being so rich and sour (and alcoholic, though the alcohol is hidden quite well) I'd take my time with this.
Well it's different. A fair alternative to the regular version.
